Titans Sign OLB Victor Ochi & CB Manny Abad, Cut Two

The Tennessee Titans announced Tuesday that they’ve signed CB Manny Abad and OLB Victor Ochi to contracts and placed DB Trevon Hartfield and DE Caushaud Lyons on waivers.

Ochi, 23, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Stony Brook back in May. He was, unfortunately, cut loose coming out of the preseason, as the Ravens’ trimmed their roster down to 53 players.

The Jets later signed him to their practice squad a few weeks into the regular season and was on and off of the unit util the Chiefs signed him to their active roster this past January. Kansas City waived Ochi last month.

In 2016, Ochi appeared in two games and recorded one tackle for the Chiefs.

During his career at Stony Brook, Ochi recorded 135 tackles, 19.5 sacks, 34 tackles for a loss and three forced fumbles over the course of 35 games played.
