Update:

The Vikings announced that they’ve officially re-signed G Mike Harris.

Ben Goessling reports that the Vikings are close to an agreement on a one-year deal with G Mike Harris.

Last we heard, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press mentioned that the the Vikings have offered Harris a two-year, $3.5 million dollar contract, but it appears as though he wants to see if there are better deals out there for him.

Harris, 27, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in 2012. He lasted just over two years in San Diego before he was waived and later claimed off of waivers by the Vikings.

Minnesota brought Harris back on a one-year restricted contract, which leaves him in position to test the open market as a free agent next week.

In 2015, Harris appeared in all 16 games for the Vikings and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 23 guard out of 81 qualifying players.

We have him included in our Top 100 free agents list.
