“Zero Chance” Jay Cutler Misses Week 8’s Game Against Carolina

Jay Cutler mentioned that there’s “zero chance” of him missing Week 8’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

Cutler was slammed to ground by Lions DT Ndamukong Suh and forced to briefly leave the game.

“It was a tough hit and he caught me just right,” said Cutler said, via the Chicago Tribune. “It was an awkward fall more than anything.

Cutler surprisingly only injured his ribs on the play, but it seemed like he suffered a shoulder injury, considering how he landed.

“I still think it was clean and he is a good player. … I knew it was my ribs and it wasn’t my shoulder or head or anything like that. His knee and the ball got caught in my ribs. … I knew on my way down it wasn’t going to be good.”

This is obviously great news for Bears. Cutler is without a doubt one of the toughest players in the league. He should be able to practice from Thursday on.
