Alex Marvez of FOX Sports reports that Bills RBs coach Anthony Lynn will interview for the 49ers’ offensive-coordinator vacancy.
This comes after the news that new HC Chip Kelly has parted ways with several coaches including OC Geep Chryst.
Lynn, 47, was actually a head-coaching candidate who interviewed for the 49ers and Dolphins’ vacancies.
He began his NFL coaching career back in 2000 with the Broncos as a special teams assistant. Since then, he’s coached for a number of teams including the Jaguars, Cowboys, Browns, and Jets before joining Bills as their RBs coach/assistant head coach last year.
We’ll have more regarding the 49ers’ offensive coordinator job as the news is available.
