Cardinals Sign CB Cariel Brooks To Futures Deal

The Arizona Cardinals signed CB Cariel Brooks to a future/reserve contract on Wednesday.

This comes a day after the Cardinals signed 11 players to future’s deals, including:

Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and training camp.

Brooks, 24, wound up signing on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Adams State back in May of last year. He was unfortunately among the Cardinals’ final roster cuts coming out of the preseason, but was later signed to their practice squad.

Arizona elected to promote him to their active roster in October, but he was later waived with an injury settlement towards the end of the regular season.

In 2015, Brooks appeared in three games and recorded a single tackle for the Cardinals.
