The Seattle Seahawks officially signed WR Tyler Slavin to reserve/future contract on Thursday.
Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and training camp.
Slavin, 24, originally signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of New Mexico Highlands back in May of last year. He was among the team’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason, but later signed on to the Seahawks practice squad in November.
