The Pittsburgh Steelers announced a series of roster moves on Tuesday including the signing of LS Matt Dooley and DT Lavon Hooks.
The Steelers also released TE Rob Blanchflower, OT Kelvin Palmer and OT Mitchell Van Dyk.
Blanchflower, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Steelers back in May of 2014. He was unfortunately unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason during his rookie season, but was later signed to their practice squad.
The Steelers elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract last January, but he was waived with the injury designation at the start of the preseason.
Blanchflower has yet to appear in an NFL game.
