LeSean McCoy
John Gonzalez of CSN Philly spoke to law enforcement officials Thursday who said that District Attorneyโs office is โpushing backโ against issuing an arrest warrant for LeSean McCoy for his involvement in a bar fight that led to two off-duty officers being hospitalized.
According to Gonzalez, tension between the District Attorneyโs office and the Philadelphia Police Department has increased in the past few days, due to the delay in charging McCoy and the others involved in the incident.
Gonzalez’s sources have said that D.A.โs office is hesitant to issue warrants because it has questions about the conduct of the officers. The source pointed to the officers not calling 911 and whether they had been drinking excessively.
