NFL Notes: LeSean McCoy, Browns, Eagles, Packers, & Titans

LeSean McCoy

John Gonzalez of CSN Philly spoke to law enforcement officials Thursday who said that District Attorney’s office is “pushing back” against issuing an arrest warrant for LeSean McCoy for his involvement in a bar fight that led to two off-duty officers being hospitalized.

According to Gonzalez, tension between the District Attorney’s office and the Philadelphia Police Department has increased in the past few days, due to the delay in charging McCoy and the others involved in the incident.

Gonzalez’s sources have said that D.A.’s office is hesitant to issue warrants because it has questions about the conduct of the officers. The source pointed to the officers not calling 911 and whether they had been drinking excessively.

Eddie Lacy‘s conditioning, I have great confidence is something that will improve and is improvement as we speak,” McCarthy said, per Rob Demovsky.

  • McCarthy said that the changes to their offensive staff will improve their overall process: “We’ve adjusted job responsibilities back to more of what we’ve done in the past. Think it’ll be a better process.
