The Dallas Cowboys placed WR Donte Foster and DE Efe Obada on waivers Wednesday, according to Rob Phillips.
Foster, 25, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio back in 2014. He spent over a year in Minnesota, mainly on their practice squad, before he was cut loose back in October of last year.
After a short stint with the Chargers, the Cowboys signed him to their practice squad and later brought him back on a future/reserve contract.
Foster has yet to appear in an NFL game.
Obada, 23, signed on with the Cowboys back in April of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was later added to the Cowboys’ practice squad.
Like Foster, Obada was also signed to a future/reserve contract a few months ago.
