Tim McManus of PhillyMag is reporting that the Eagles are expected to re-sign free agent CB Nolan Carroll to a one-year deal.
- Rand Getlin reports that the Eagles have signed Carroll to a one-year deal with a base value of $2.36 million to go along with a max value of $3 million.
Carroll visited with the Cowboys last week, but there hasn’t been much of an update regarding him until now.
Carroll, 29, is former fifth-round pick of the Dolphins back inย 2010. He played out his rookie contract with Miami and later signed a two-year deal with the Eagles.
His season came to an end after he suffered aย broken right ankle duringย their Week 11 game.
In 2015, Carroll appeared in 11 games and recorded 57 tackles, two interceptions with one beign returned for a touchdown and 10 pass defenses.ย Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 53ย cornerback out of 111 qualifying players.
