ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the San Francisco 49ers have signed WR Braylon Edwards to a one-year $3.5 million deal.
The 49ers were rumored to have interest in Edwards as they’re in need of a solid wide-receiver to play opposite of Michael Crabtree who is hurt again. As of now the team will have Josh Morgan to go along with Edwards and Vernon Davis.
San Francisco’s slow start to free agency has got much better in the last few days.
