Wide receiver Lance Lewis announced via his Twitter account that he has signed a contract with the San Francisco 49ers Saturday.

Lewis, 25, signed with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of East Carolina back in 2012. He was with Washington for the better part of two years before he placed on waivers in December of last year.
Lewis later signed a future/reserve contract with the Cowboys, but was once again placed on waivers a few months ago.
He appeared in three games for the Cowboys last season.
