According to Albert Breer, the 49ers are bringing in five free-agent defensive backs for workouts this week, including Kentrell Brice.
The full list of players includes:
- DB Kentrell Brice
- DB Blake Countess
- DB Deiondre’ Hall
- DB Chris Miller
- DB Kai Nacua
Brice, 26, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana Tech in 2016. He finished out his three-year, $1.62 million rookie contract with the Packers but they declined to tender him a restricted offer.
Brice has had brief stints with the Buccaneers, Bears and Cardinals.
In 2018, Brice appeared in 14 games for the Packers and recorded 50 tackles, one sack, no interceptions, and two pass defenses.
