The Los Angeles Rams announced Wednesday that they’ve promotedย DB Isaiah Johnson to their active roster and signedย CB Marcus Sayles to their practice squad.
The Rams’ practice squad now consists of:
- DT Omarius Bryant
- WR Paul McRoberts (Injured)
- FB Sam Rogers
- C Aaron Neary
- WR Fred Brown
- LB Garrett Sickels
- G Jake Eldrenkamp
- TE Johnny Mundt
- LB Ejuan Price
- DB Dominique Hatfield
Johnson, 25, originally signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech back in 2015. He was waived coming out of the preseason before signing on to the Lions’ practice squad.
The Rams later signed him to their taxi squad at the start of the 2016 season after Detroit once again cut him loose. Since he’s been on and off of the team’s active roster this year.
In 2016, Johnson appeared in three games and recorded one tackle.
