Bills
Bills HC Sean McDermott told reporters Tuesday that WR Zay Jones‘ recent arrest was “disappointing” and he’s hoping this will be a learning lesson for him.
“It’s an unfortunate situation. It’s somewhat disappointing,” McDermott said, per Mike Rodak. “But it’s a situation, to me, that we can all take something from and learn from it.”
McDermott added that he does not “foresee” discipline from the team for Jones regarding this matter.
“This is the time of year … where things happen. It’s unfortunate,” McDermott said. “You would like the ability to have some form of structure, but those are the rules that are set forth, and we abide by those rules. This is the time of year that you just need to find a routine and stay disciplined with your routine.”
- McDermott said he is “excited” about QBs A.J. McCarron and Nate Petermanย and mentioned that Peterman has worked with the “quarterback-type guys out there” and is looking to make a jump in his second season. (Mike Rodak)

- Gase said โIโd like to get a quarterback as much as anybody else,โ when heโs asked if they’re definitely drafting one. Although, he later added: โWeโre not going to pick a quarterback to pick a quarterback. We have to make sure we get the right one for us.โ
- Regarding QB Ryan Tannehill, Gase said he’s โready to go.โ
- Gase said he admires Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield and believes they’re โclose in personality probablyโ: โWhatever it is he wants to win. He always wants to do a little bit more. Iโve enjoyed the amount of time Iโve spent with him.โ
