AFC North Notes: Browns, Ravens, Steelers

Browns

  • The Cleveland Browns announced Tuesday that they’ve hired Doug Colman as assistant special teams coach and Alonso Escalante as defensive quality control coach.

Ravens

  • Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that C.J. Mosley‘s agent was asking for $15 million in year one and $17 million in year two of a long-term agreement, which is what he would make under the franchise tag.
  • Rapoport says that franchising Mosley was never really a consideration for the Ravens.
  • According to Rapoport, there’s going to be “a lot” of interest in Mosley as a free agent.

Steelers

  • Pittsburgh met with the consensus top linebackers, LSU’s Devin White, Michigan’s Devin Bush and Alabama’s Mack Wilson, at the Combine on Saturday.
  • The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac thinks Bush and Wilson could be options for the Steelers, with White potentially going in the top ten.
