- Mary Kay Cabot reports that there’s nothing new in regards to a contract extension for Browns S Tashaun Gipson.

Chargers

- Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins and DE Olivier Vernon are not expected have an agreement in place on a long-term extension anytime soon.
Raiders
Vic Tafur mentions that veteran DL Justin Tuck has known Aldon Smith for a long time, and was “very involved” in getting him to sign with the Raiders.
“He’s now surrounded by people who love him as a brother,” Tuck said of Smith, per Tafur.
Ravens
- The Ravens officially ruled out rookie WR Breshad Perriman (knee) and RB Lorenzo Taliaferro (knee) for Sunday’s game against the Broncos.
Texans
