Raiders

  • Scott Bair says the Raiders thought they were competitive in their pursuit for RB Le’Veon Bell, but ultimately were not willing to beat the Jets’ price. 
  • Vic Tafur confirms the Raiders made an offer that was less than the Jets’ offer of four years, $52.5 million.  
  • Raiders HC Jon Gruden and GM Mike Mayock were not at Oklahoma’s pro day, but the team does plan on hosting QB Kyler Murray for a private meeting later in the draft process.  (Albert Breer)
  • Raiders WR Jordy Nelson has a base salary of $3 million that becomes fully guaranteed on Friday, providing a possible deadline if the Raiders want to move on.  (Adam Caplan)
  • Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal writes that the Raiders must make a decision on DT Justin Ellis given his $2.25 million base salary for 2019 becomes fully guaranteed on Friday. 

Ravens

  • According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Ravens never made an offer for RB Le’Veon Bell
