AFC South Notes: Colts, Jaguars, Texans

Colts

• The Colts somewhat surprisingly made the decision to waive former third-round DE Tarell Basham on Thursday. (NFLTR)
• Zak Keefer reports that the Colts were hoping to bring Basham back and re-sign him to their active roster. However, the Jets claimed him off of waivers on Friday. (NFLTR)
• Colts signed TE Mo Alie-Cox to their practice squad. (NFLTR)

Jaguars

• The Jacksonville Jaguars officially ruled out RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) and CB D.J. Hayden (toe) for Sunday’s game the Chiefs.
• The Jaguars have CB Tre Herndon (hamstring) listed as questionable for Week 5.

Texans

• Texans HC Bill O’Brien said Friday that RB Lamar Miller (chest) will be a game-time decision Week 5 against the Cowboys. (Mark Berman)
• O’Brien added that RB D’Onta Foreman (Achilles’, PUP) is “on track” to return in Week 7.
• Texans CB Kayvon Webster (Achilles) will make season debut in Week 5.
• The Texans officially ruled out CB Aaron Colvin (ankle) and LB Brian Peters (ankle) for Sunday’s game with WR Keke Coutee (hamstring), WR Will Fuller (hamstring) and RB Lamar Miller (chest) all listed as questionable.

Titans

• The Tennessee Titans officially ruled out S Kenny Vaccaro (elbow) and LB Wesley Woodyard (shoulder) for Week 5’s game against the Bills and list OT Dennis Kelly (illness) as questionable.
