Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak mentioned that he would like to give WR Andre Johnson some where between 45-50 snaps in the teams first ever playoffs game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
“I don’t think he’s ready to play 70 plays,” Kubiak said. “We don’t want him doing that anyway. We want him playing 45 to 50 good ones, and I think he’ll be ready to do that.”
Johnson’s season has been marred with hamstring injuries but was able to play a limited role in Week 17’s game. There’s really no question that Johnson is the teams best receiving option even when he’s at less than one-hundred percent.
