Michael C. Wright of ESPN Chicagoย reports that aย source has informed him that theย Bearsย and QB Jay Cutler have yet to discuss a long-term contract extension.
Chicago has Cutler under contract through the 2013 season, so this isn’t exactly a pressing issue. The Bears seem to have their long-term finances in order, as Wright notes that Chicago should have at least $50 million to work with in 2014, so there isย chance that the two sides could at least broach the topic at the end of the season.
