Lasike, 26, wound up signing on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of BYU back in May of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but later signed on to the Bearsโ practice squad.
Chicago elected to bring Lasike back on a future/reserve contract this past January before they waived him coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad. The Bears promoted him to their active roster a few weeks ago.
This season, Lasike has appeared in four games and ran for three yards on a two carries and no touchdowns.
Mostert, 24, wound up signing on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue back in May. However, he was unfortunately among the Eagles’ final roster cuts.
Mostert later caught on with the Dolphins and Ravens in brief stints before he was placed on waivers and later claimed by the Browns back in December of last year.
The Browns brought him back on a one-year, exclusive rights deal before cutting him loose a few weeks ago. After a brief stint with the Jets, the Bears signed him to their practice squad a few weeks later.
This season, Mostert has been active for two games but has yet to record a single statistic.
