Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune is reporting that the Bears have agreed to terms with DE Jarvis Jenkins on a one-year contract.
- Biggs adds that the deal will be official as soon as Jenkins passes a physical.
Jenkins, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Redskins back in 2011. He played out his four-year, $4,782,680 contract with the Redskins that included $2,818,382 guaranteed before testing the free agent market this offseason.
In 2014, Jenkins appeared in all 16 games and recorded 28 tackles for Washington. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the N0. 45 defensive end in a 3-4 defense out of 47 qualifying players.
