Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that the Bears are trying out former AAF kickers Younghoe Koo and Nick Rose on Wednesday and could bring in another kicker to take part in the session.
NFL Draft Diamonds first reported that the Bears were trying out Rose, who is also expected to meet with the Vikings.
The Bears have tried out a number of kickers they offseason, as they look to get the position solidified after dealing with issues the past few years.
Koo, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Southern back in 2017. He was set to make a base salary of $465,000 for the 2017 season when the Chargers waived him a few weeks into the season.
In 2017, Koo appeared in four games for the Chargers and converted just three of six field goal attempts and all nine extra point tries.
Rose, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Texans back in 2016. After a brief stint with the 49ers, Rose signed on with the Redskins during the 2017 season.
Washington waived him after two months and he was later claimed by the Chargers and finished out the year in Los Angeles. Rose had stints with the Jets and Texans before the Chargers re-signed him for a few weeks late last year.
In 2017, Rose appeared in 10 games and converted 11 of 14 field goal attempts (78.6 percent) to go along with 23 of 26 extra point tries and 32 touchbacks.
