The Cincinnati Bengals announced Friday that they’ve activated CB Darqueze Dennard from the PUP list.
Dennard will take the roster spot vacated by Cordy Glenn, who has been suspended one game.
Back in May, Dennard underwent a knee scope and was eventually placed on the reserve/PUP list coming out of the preseason, which cost him six games.
Dennard, 28, was taken with the No. 24 overall pick by the Bengals back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $7.978 million contract before the Bengals picked up his fifth-year option for the 2018 season.
Dennard made $8,526,000 million last year before returning to the Bengals on a one year, $4.5 million contract this past March.
In 2018, Dennard appeared in 13 games for the Bengals and recorded 68 tackles, no interceptions, two forced fumbles, a recovery and six pass defenses.
