Calhoun, 24, signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State in 2019. He managed to make the active roster coming out of the preseason.

In 2019, Calhoun played in 10 games for the Dolphins and made seven starts at guard. Pro Football Focus rated Calhoun as the No. 79 guard out of 84 qualifying players.
