Bengals Claim WR Conner Vernon Off Waivers, Waive P T.J. Conley

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Bengals have claimed WR Conner Vernon off of waivers from the Browns.

• The Bengals also waived P T.J. Conley.

Vernon, 23, signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Duke last year, but was later released before the start of the season.

Cleveland signed Vernon to their practice squad before Week 17 of last year. However, the Browns waived him on Wednesday.

During his four-year college career, Vernon caught 283 passes for 3,749 yards receiving and 21 touchdowns.
