The Cincinnati Bengals have claimed former Cardinals WR Pharoh Cooper and Redskins RB Samaje Perine off of waivers on Sunday, according to Field Yates.
Cooper, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Rams back in 2016. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $2.89 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $720,000 for the 2019 season.
The Rams placed Cooper on injured reserve with an ankle injury coming out of the preseason before activating him from the list in November. Los Angeles waived Cooper last December and he was later claimed by the Cardinals.
In 2018, Cooper has appeared in seven games and totaled 277 kick return yards and 12 punt return yards for the Rams and Cardinals.
