Saints Blocking Aaron Glenn From Interviewing For Bengals’ DC Job

Update:

Ian Rapoport reports that the Saints plan to block secondary coach Aaron Glenn from interviewing for the Bengals’ defensive coordinator job.

Josina Anderson reports that the Bengals have informed Saints secondary coach Aaron Glenn that they’re interested in scheduling an interview with him for their defensive coordinator vacancy.

The Bengals have shown interest in hiring a number of coaches but Jack Del Rio, Dom Capers and Todd Grantham have all passed on the job, according to reports.

Other names recently linked to the Bengals include Rams DBs coach Aubrey Pleasant, Falcons DC Marquand Manuel, and Texas A&M DC Mike Elko

Glenn, 46, is a former first-round pick of the Jets back in 1994. He played 15 seasons for the Jets, Texans, Cowboys, Jaguars and Saints.

Glenn began his NFL coaching career with the Browns back in 2014 as their assistant defensive backs coach. The Saints hired him two years later as their defensive backs coach.
