The Cincinnati Bengals announced Wednesday that they’ve placed DT Brandon Thompson on season-ending injured reserve and promoted DT DeShawn Williams to their active roster.
Thompson, 26, is in the final year of his four-year, $2,636,200 rookie contract that included a $521,200 signing bonus. He’ll make a base salary of $665,000 for the 2015 season before becoming an unrestricted free agent in the coming months.
His 2015 season comes to an end with him appearing nine games and recording eight tackles and a half sack for the Bengals.
