The Bengals announced Wednesday they have placed LS Dan Godsil on the reserve/retired list.

Godsil, 24, signed with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Indiana in 2019. He lasted less than a week in Tampa Bay before being waived, however.
He caught on with the Bengals later that summer but was again waived coming out of camp. At the end of the year, Cincinnati brought Godsil back on a futures deal for the 2020 season.
Godsil was waived coming out of camp and returned later in the season for a short stint on the practice squad before signing another futures deal for 2021.
He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
