The Cincinnati Bengals officially placed DE Kerry Wynn on injured reserve Monday to make room for G Fred Johnson, who was claimed off of waivers from the Steelers.
Wynn, 28, wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Richmond back in 2014. He played out his rookie three-year, $1,537,500 contract with the Giants before returning to the Giants on a one-year, restricted deal worth $1.797 million for the 2017 season.
Wynn re-signed with the Giants for the 2018 season after hitting the open market before joining the Bengals this past March.
In 2019, Wynn has appeared in two games for the Bengals and recorded two tackles and no sacks.
