The Bengals placed an original-round tender on Wilson that will cost them $2.133 million for the 2020 season.

Wilson, 25, was drafted in the sixth-round in 2017 out of Houston by the Bengals. The Bengals waived him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit and later re-signed him to their practice squad once he cleared waivers.

The Bengals brought Wilson back on an exclusive rights contract last year before tendering him an offer last month as a restricted free agent. He’ll be an unrestricted free agent in 2021.

In 2019, Wilson appeared in 12 games for the Bengals and recorded 21 tackles, no interceptions and two forced fumbles.
