The Bengals announced Monday they have signed C Kirk Barron to the active roster.

Barron, 24, signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent from Purdue following a tryout with the team. Miami waived him after only a few days, however.
Barron started the past two years at center for Purdue, 25 games in total. He appeared in five games and made one start as a sophomore.
