According to Adam Caplan, the Cincinnati Bengals worked out free-agent DT Michael Bennett on Tuesday.
Caplan mentioned that the Bengals worked out four defensive tackles in total but did not list the other players.
Bennett, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2015. He was in the third year of his four-year, $2,418,700 contract and set to make a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season when the Jaguars waived him coming out of the preseason.
The Falcons signed Bennett to a contract in early October but cut him loose after a few weeks to make room for OL Zane Beadles.
Bennett worked out for the Saints last week but was not signed to a contract following the session.
In 2017, Bennett was limited to appearing in just one game and recorded one tackle and a pass defense before being placed on injured reserve.
