This opens a 21-day practice window for Wallace and Phillips to practice with the team before being added to the active roster.
Wallace, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Alabama back in 2018. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Bills, but was waived coming out of the preseason.
Wallace had a brief stint on the Bills’ practice squad but was later promoted to the active roster during the 2018 season.
In 2020, Wallace has appeared in four games for the Bills and recorded 22 tackles, one interception and two pass defenses.
