Joe Buscaglia of WGR 550 Buffalo reports that the Bills are “extremely interested” in Alabama S Mark Barron and South Carolina CB Stephon Gilmore.
Accordign to Buscaglia, the team sees Barron as a “playmaker” and a “day-one starter” for them. He also adds that they’re considering Boston College LB Luke Kuechly as well.
It intially seemed like they would address the offensive tackle position after losing Demetress Bell to the Eagles, but this would suggest that they see more room for improvement on the defensive side of the ball. If Buffalo does end up with Barron or Gilmore, they’d be one step closer to one of the most formiable defenses in the league, at least on paper.
