Asiata, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2017. He was in the second year of his four-year contract worth $2,660,800 when the Dolphins waived him coming out of the preseason last year.
The Dolphins signed Asiata to their practice squad a few days later before being promoted to the active roster in November. Miami waived him with an injury designation back in May and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.
Miami later waived Asiata with an injury settlement and he eventually signed on with the Bills a few weeks ago.
In 2018, Asiata appeared in one game for the Dolphins.
