Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports reports that the Bills are hosting free agent Sย Dawan Landry for a visit on Tuesday.
This is the first reported interest in Landry since free agency got under way close to a month ago.
Buffalo has some cap space to work with, but it seems likely that they are shopping around for value right now. There’s an obvious connection between the Bills and Landry given that Rex Ryan coached him in New York for the past two seasons.
Landry, 32, is a former fifth round pick of the Ravens back in 2006. He spent five years in Baltimore before joining the Jagaurs in 2011. The Jets later signed Landry to a contractย a few years ago.
In 2014,ย Landry appeared in all 16 games for the Jets and recordedย 106 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and a pass defense.ย Pro Football Focus has Landry rated as the No. 9 safety out of 87 qualifying players.
