Bills Name Nathan Peterman Starting Quarterback

On Monday, the Buffalo Bills announced that Nathan Peterman will be their starting quarterback.

The Bills elected to trade away A.J. McCarron last weekend, which left the decision between Peterman and rookie Josh Allen, who had some ups and downs.

Peterman actually had some good moments during the preseason and it will be interesting to see how he does in year two in Buffalo.

Peterman, 24, was taken in the fifth-round of last year’s draft by the Bills. He signed a four-year, $2.63 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $555,000 for the 2018 season.

In 2017, Peterman appeared in four games for the Bills and thrown for 252 yards while completing 49 percent of his passes to go along with two touchdown and five interceptions.
