Ian Rapoport reports that Bills P Cory Carter sustained a torn ACL in his planting leg.
This will likely lead to Buffalo placing Carter on their injured reserve in the coming days.
Carter, 24, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Texas Southern back in January of last year. Houston wound up waiving him with an injury designation and was cut after clearing waivers.
The Bills signed him to their practice squad back in December and re-signed him to a futures deal this offseason.
He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
