The Buffalo Bills are placing RB Cierre Wood on season-ending injured reserve with an ACL injury, according to Chris Brown.
- LB IK Enemkpali will take Wood’s spot on their 53-man roster.
Wood, 24, signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Notre Dame back in 2013. However, he lasted just a few months with the team before he was placed on waivers. S
The Bills promoted Wood to their active roster last week for the Week 5 game.
This season, Wood has appeared in two games and ran for just three yards on two carries. He added a reception for -6 yards receiving.
Enemkpali, 24, was taken in seventh round of the 2014 draft and has three years remaining on his four-year, $2.3 million rookie contract. The Bills wound up claiming him off of waivers a few weeks ago after he was cut by the Jets.
In 2014, Enemkpali wound up appearing in six games and recorded three tackles and two pass defenses for the Jets.
