According to Mike Rodak, the Bills have re-signed RB Joe Banyard to their 53-man roster.
Banyard, 28, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of UTEP back in 2012. After a brief stint with the Saints, Banyard caught on with the Vikings and spent just over two years in Minnesota before he was cut loose at the start of last season.
The Jaguars would later sign him to their practice before waiving him at the start of the regular season. Jacksonville brought him back towards the end of the season and he finished out the year with the Jaguars.
He signed on with the Bills back in March but was waived earlier this month to make room for WR Deonte Thompson.
In 2016, Banyard appeared in one game for the Jaguars and rushed for seven yards on two carries and no touchdowns.
