Bills HC Sean McDermott announced Sunday that they have released veteran OL Vlad Ducasse.

The Bills also announced that they’ve signed DE Sam Acho to a contract.

Ducasse, 31, is a former second-round pick of the Jets back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract with the Jets before signing on with the Vikings in 2014.

Ducasse spent a year with the Bears before signing on with the Ravens for the 2016 season. From there, he agreed to a three-year, $3.5 million contract with the Bills and was set to make a base salary of $1.3 million for the 2019 season.

In 2018, Ducasse appeared in 10 games for the Bills and started 9 games.

Acho, 30, is a former fourth-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2011. He spent four years in Arizona before he signed on with the Bears as an unrestricted free agent back April of 2015.

Acho played two seasons on one-year contracts with the Bears before agreeing to a to a two-year contract last offseason. Unfortunately, Chicago cut him loose this past March.

In 2018, Acho appeared in four games for the Bears and recorded one tackle and no sacks.
