Bills Sign Dan Herron, Place TE MarQueis Gray On I.R.

The Buffalo Bills announced Tuesday that they’ve signed former Colts RB Dan Herron to a contract and placed TE MarQueis Gray on season-ending injured reserve.

Buffalo also brought in Trent Richardson for a workout today, but it appears as though Herron was the more impressive option.

Herron, 26, signed his exclusive rights tender from the Colts back in April worth $660,000. However, the Colts waived him from injured reserve with a settlement at the start of the season.

Herron recently worked out for the Patriots, but didn’t receive an offer from the team.

In 2014, Herron appeared in all 16 games for the Colts and ran for 351 yards on 78 carries (4.5 YPC) to go along with 21 receptions and 173 yards receiving and a touchdown.
