The Buffalo Bills announced the signing of LB Michael Buchanan on Tuesday, as well as the release of P Spencer Roth.
Buchanan recently worked out for the Bills, so he was clearly on their radar as a potential addition.
Buchanan, 24, was a seventh-round pick of the Patriots back in 2013. He wound up appearing in three games last year and recorded two tackles before he was placed on season-ending injured reserve in October.
The Patriots wound up waiving Buchanan shortly after this year’s NFL Draft concluded.
In 2014, Buchanan was limited to appearing in three games and recording just two tackles for New England.
