The Buffalo Bills are signing former Redskins Sย Bacarri Rambo to a contract on Monday, according to Mike Garafolo.
- Chris Brown mentioned earlier in the day that Buffalo signedย CB Brandon Smith to their practice squad.
Since being waived by the Redskins,ย Rambo has worked out for a number of teams including: theย Colts, Bears, Giants, Patriots, Buccaneers, Titans and Saints,ย but this isย his firstย opportunity since Washington moved on from him.
Washington used aย sixth-round pick on Rambo last year, but he struggled quite a bit in his first two years in the league. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 79 safety out of 86 qualifying players last season.
Rambo, 24, wasย a liability in coverage as he allowed long touchdowns to Texans WR DeAndre Hopkinsย andย Jaguars TEย Marcedes Lewisย in back-to-back weeks to start the 2014 season.
It will be interesting to see if he can turn things around with the Bills over the remainder of the season.

Been a fan of his since his college days, wished the Raiders would have signed him, we’re a tad thin at safety. The best of luck to him, but if 1/4th of the NFL teams passed on him, that’s not a good sign.
