The Buffalo Bills announced Tuesday that they’ve waived CB Phillip Gaines and promoted CB Levi Wallace to their active roster.
Gaines, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2,824,112 contract and made a base salary of $700,000 before signing on with the Bills this past March.
In 2018, Gaines has appeared in seven games for the Bills and recorded 30 tackles, no interceptions and two pass defenses.
