Bills Waive DL Bryan Johnson

The Buffalo Bills placed DL Bryan Johnson on waivers Tuesday, according to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post.

Johnson, 26, signed on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of West Texas A&M back in May of last year. He was unfortunately unable to make the Bills’ final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but he was later added to the team’s practice squad.

Buffalo wound up signing Johnson to a future/reserve contract in December of last year.

According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Johnson will free up $435,000 in available cap space while creating no dead money.

Johnson has yet to appear in an NFL game.
